SIDE EFFECTS

The finasteride, dutasteride and minoxidil tablets are compounded by Regenboog Apotheek and then sent to the Dutch Pharmacists’ Laboratory (LNA) for dosage and safety testing. If the tablets meet the legal requirements, they are released.

Both finasteride and dutasteride are medicines originally intended for prostate problems. Their effect (testosterone inhibition) affects both the prostate and the hair follicles in the skin.
Finasteride and dutasteride are proven effective for hair growth treatment and rarely have side effects. Any side effects that may occur usually resolve when the medication is discontinued.
Despite the fact that there are few to no side effects, you are always advised to read the package insert before taking the medication.

Neither finasteride nor dutasteride affects driving ability.

The tablets should not be broken or crushed, but swallowed whole.
They can be taken at any time of day. We advise you to take it at a fixed time.
There is no need to take them before or after a meal.

Both finasteride and dutasteride should be kept away from pregnant women as they can be harmful to the fetus. If you are taking finasteride or dutasteride, we recommend using a condom during intercourse.
